Our Programs
Kids Village Programming
The Kids Village is a dedicated cultural learning space at Igbofest Houston where children engage in Igbo language sessions, traditional dance, folklore storytelling, and heritage games. It is designed to create joyful, hands-on experiences that strengthen identity and cultural confidence from an early age.
Cultural Performers
Our Cultural Performers are tradition bearers who preserve and transmit authentic West African dance, music, and storytelling. By supporting these artists, we ensure that cultural knowledge is not only showcased but sustained and passed on to the next generation with excellence and dignity.
Community Support Initiatives (Scholarships)
Through scholarships and access initiatives, we remove financial barriers that prevent youth from participating in cultural programming. These efforts ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to learn, engage, and remain connected to their heritage.
Youth Engagement
Our youth engagement programs create structured opportunities for young people to lead, perform, volunteer, and serve within culturally grounded spaces. We cultivate confidence, leadership, and pride, preparing youth to carry forward tradition with purpose and responsibility.
